How to be a wise leader

Do you want to feel engaged with your work and your team. Feel satisfied at the end of the day that you have done a good job? And do you to then be able to have the energy to go home and focus on family and yourself?

If we want to feel happy and fulfilled we need to live with virtue.

​The field of positive psychology has found that we need to live in Integrity with seven core virtues:

• Wisdom
• Courage
• Humanity
• Justice
• Temperance
• Transcendence

You will feel at your best when you're engaging with those core virtues via your character strengths.Your character is who the unique makeup of your traits that makes you stand out from everyone else.

Science has learned that we can shape our character and that's what I'm encouraging you to do.
This may all sound a little bit old-fashioned but stick with me because I think as we begin to unpack the virtue of wisdom today you will discover how important this conversation is to both your leadership and your life.

When you use your character strengths to live a virtuous life, you feel happier, content and fulfilled.

Today we begin to understand more about those virtues and the character traits that help you to live that way by unpacking wisdom.
