One Appointment You Need to Schedule Is: Time for Self-Reflection!

We spent a lot of time as leaders running. We go from one meeting to the next with barely any breaks!

We never have time to go to the bathroom, eat our lunch or let everything catch up with us.

The problem is that it is hard to do the work of great leadership when you don't have time to slow down and tune in.
Effective leaders need time to think, ponder and tune in. They ask themselves:
  • What just happened in that meeting?
  • What just went on with that person?
  • What am I feeling?
  • What am I noticing?
  • What's going on in my body?
  • What's going on on my team?

But you won't find that time. You need to schedule time in for self-reflection.

Learning to Thrive in Leadership
Women leaders spend too much time in survival mode as they run their non-profit. That’s not helping you be a confident and composed leader.

Ditch survival mode and thrive so you can lead with strength and impact.

If you just stop and think for a moment about all of that that you, YOU the leader are carrying!

  • That you are shouldering the burden of not just your workload, but everybody's workload.
  • The priorities! Not just your priorities, but the organizational and everybody else’s priorities.
That it's you that are responsible for the pace of your team.
That not only do you have to take care of yourself, but you also have to take care of the people on your team.
  • When you think about the magnitude of all of that, that you are carrying. There is no way that you are going to be able to do that when you're burnt out!! At least not well! Not to the degree that you are capable of.

You are not going to reach your potential as a leader.
Nor are you and your team and your organization going to reach the potential that you and your organization and team could be reaching if you managed all of that.
