When is it time to get help to address conflict on your nonprofit team? with HR Expert Stacey Messner

Conflict is normal on any team. It's part of the growth process. We need to storm before we can norm. However, at times, conflict can be damaging to a team. The result may be a toxic workplace. If your team is headed down that path, you may be wondering when is it time to get help and where you get it. I've got answers for you!
Tune into this episode as HR Expert Stacey Messner walks us through services for nonprofits to help deal with conflict on their teams.

ABOUT STACEY
Hello, my name is Stacey Messner, Leader in HR, and I provide insight, wisdom, and support to leaders in gaining clarity and direction in their HR skills so they can make a positive difference in the jobs they do.
I am a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) in Alberta and operate a human resourcesconsulting practice for small and medium sized organizations in the North Peace Region.

I bring over 20 years of experience in Human Resources with specialties in workplace assessment, professional development and training, conflict resolution, and HR special projects -  HR organizational change management, the hiring process, policy and procedure development, performance management programs, orientation and onboarding, job description and wage review, employment lay-off and termination support.

I earned my Human Resource Management Bachelor's degree from the University of Lethbridge, obtained certificates in Workplace Restoration and Fairness with the Workplace Fairness Institute of Canada, Change Management Practitioner with APMG (Association of Project Managers Group), training with ADRIA (Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Alberta) in Conflict Management, and I am super excited to be completing my certification with the University of Fredericton in Psychological Safe and Healthy Workplaces, and as a mediator with the ADR Learning Institute in 2021.

I live in the Alberta North Peace Country with my husband and energetic twins and have come to enjoy the beauty and various activities the region has to offer.  Born and raised in rural Saskatchewan, I am a prairie girl at heart!

LOVE IN YOUR NONPROFIT

Have you lost your passion for your work?

Do you wish you could feel engaged, create an engaged team and enjoy the work you do?
All of that comes from allowing your heart to be involved in your work.
Too often, we’ve been told to stop being so emotional. To no be so caring. We’ve been told we’ll burn ourselves out. But we are burning ourselves out by not caring, not feeling and numbing out.

In this episode, Elizabeth and I engage in a dialogue about bringing your heart back into your work!
You’ll learn strategies, mindsets and most importantly, you’ll gain the permission to once again feel the love in the workplace!

ABOUT ELIZABETH
