Have you ever had one of those facepalm moments, when you realize you’ve done something fairly um...dumb. My facepalm moment: I was talking to a friend about my upcoming Facebook live session this week, and they were like…”What’s Facebook live?” Then it hit me! What if YOU don’t know what Facebook Live is either? Or maybe you know, but you aren’t sure how it works. Here I am for the last few months telling you to watch my Facebook Live sessions, and you may have no idea what the heck I am talking about or are a bit hesitant about viewing them. So...let’s back up! Maybe you’ve been on some of my webinars or watched some of my videos on Youtube. Some have been in face-to-face training sessions with me. Facebook Live, is a little bit like all of those and a bit different. So, I open my phone and instead of posting a picture or comment on Facebook, I share myself...live in the moment. I talk to you...actually, I’m usually teaching you something. When I am on Facebook Live, I’ve prepared something to share with you. It’s something that can help you. So just like my webinars, blogs and YouTube videos, it’s usually a snippet of something you would get in one of my courses or my training sessions. For example, today I will be talking about delving into the craziness of our lives. I will be teaching you how to learn to live an "Examined Life." Because, as Socrates said, "The unexamined life is a life not worth living." What’s different about Facebook Live? Unlike a Webinar, I don’t share a slideshow, you see me. Just me having a chat with you. Usually from my office, so it feels like I just invited you to pull up a chair and we get to talk. Yes, you get to talk too! Well...sort of. I can’t hear you or see you. However, I can tell that there are people watching as I talk. You can make a comment, ask a question in the comment box and give me a thumbs up or share a bit of love if you like. In fact, I encourage you to connect during the session. The whole point is that it is interactive. So I’ll ask you questions, and I want you to comment or ask me questions as well. A few other things you might want to know
